As Japan is still in its devastating state with the most powerful aftershocks earthquake since last Friday, today a magnitude 6.0 earthquake shock eastern Japan again!
We went to church this evening, praying earnestly for God's Graces to be with all the people suffering in Japan.
God was with us today 25 years ago when Albert was rescued from the Hotel New World collapse, trapped under the rubble for 59 hours!
At this moment, our hearts go to those people who are trapped as a result of the earthquake. God please help them!
Before penning my thoughts for this blog, I was writing to Greg who is now in BMT in Tekong encouraging him as he is going through tough training and down with over 38 degrees fever. I shared with him that we are grateful for he is a gift from God and we love him very much for what he is.
God has been kind and I find myself the most blessed woman to be loved by God with a wonderful husband and our two beautiful sons (God's precious gifts to Albert and I).
After months of pondering, I have decided to retire from my present job though I know I need to budget well with no income. Though not a easy decision but weighing the heavy workload and the extreme political environment, I made up my mind to resign with effect from next month.
Probably need to do some work so may go into voluntary charitable work just like those days when I did at Little Sisters of the Poor, feeding the old folks and washing the dishes...its a fulfilling job.
Looking forward to our trip for Gerald's graduation and will decide on what to do for my next phase of life.
May God continue to bless us abundantly!
