As I celebrate my birthday today, 54years old! I am thankful for the many blessings I received in my life.

Though I went through a very hard childhood but those are the hardship that developed me to what I am today. I appreciate my adopted mum for bringing me up and was generous enough to allow me to have contacts with my biological parents and siblings.

My biological parents are beautiful people together with all my lovely sisters though I missed my late eldest sister very much. I always feel that she would not have died if help was there but no one knows if her death is natural as it remains a mystery.

My hubby and our 2 beautiful sons are my greatest treasures now. I live for them and will always do my best to be the best wife and the best mother.

My immediate boss (Jen) and my beautiful colleagues, Adeline & Pek Kee(I miss her cos she has just resigned) are people whom I appreciate very much as I spend most of my time in the office. I too appreciate the friends around me like that of Kathy, Joseph and Evelyn, Sew Hoe, Nancy, Violet and the many many wonderful friends whom God sent to me.

I am thankful that I live till today. Recalling those years when I struggle with my life:
1) The car accident I met when I was 6 years old,
2) At age of 9, I was struck with a nerve attack (all the muscles cramped up);
3) 18 hours of Labour pain which I felt was the end of the world ;
4) The doctor suspected that I was suffering from cancer of the throat;
5) the operations of lumps in 1985;
6) The agony we face at the Collapse of Hotel New World;
7) The depression though 3 months almost cost my life;
8) The Agony of Albert being retrenched in 1998;
9) The car accident which almost killed Ku Ku and I

All the above happenings have made me a stronger Magdalene and all these come the Grace of our God.

I always tell the Lord it is enough and if there is anything HE wants to guide and teach me, Dear Lord please send me gentle reminder.

My only heart's desire is that our 2 children will always stay close to God and worship HIM for the rest of their Lives.
